Is there a way to make a new user select a Usergroup when they register (and also to force the selection for existing members)?

Thanks. That mod almost does what I need it to do. I really need some thing that allows the users to select a group from a list.

My site is very dependent on geographical location and I need a way to assign members to the correct location when they sign up.

I'm looking for the same thing. Need to allow users to choose what group they are placed in during registration.
