URGENT: I need help, my registeration is screwed!

I was talking with Commish and I thought it was certain lines of a hack he was helping me with, but it turns out, that it wasn't.

Is what the problem is, is that after somebody registers they get the email to activate their account, when they go to activate it, it seems to work, but if you log out and try to log back in (I believe this is the case) that it won't let you in. When I login as the admin and check the password of the person it is a random letters and numbers. I created an account myself to confirm this problem and it does do what one of my users had mentioned.

Lately I have probably installed somewhere around 10 to 15 new hacks. Small and large. Can anybody please give me some ideas on what would cause this? maybe templates or php files that are related to this "section" or whatever then maybe I can trace it down to a certain hack. This makes it so people think they are registering only to be denied after they activate their account.

This is urgent as nobody can register and get in.

EDIT: OK HERE IS WHAT I FOUND, I found that people registered after the 28th started to have those weird passwords, so I went to my done directory where I put all my hacks I have installed and looked at the date of the directorys.
