Description
This is the product page for the Ultimate vBulletin Ventrilo Status product made by Crimm. It is a combination of these two products with; along with tons of requests. Links [1] [2]

This is the 4.1 release for vBulletin 4.X. Unlike it?s younger siblings, this Ultimate Ventrilo status mod ? Doesn?t require a certain host or host configuration! That?s right! You can host it on any type of server! See the Settings Explained section.

This script mod will display the status of a ventrilo server on your vBulletin forumhome or vBadvanced page. It will show users connected, channels, etc. Includes some customization and there's more to come! If you would like to request a feature, please see the link above. Here's some screenshots of what it looks like working:




It has multiple options from hosting it yourself where a script runs on your webserver and displays the status. This option gives the most flexibility. The next few options allow you to use external sources to display the same information, but you loose the flexibility of customization. More info on the settings can be found in the link above.

I've tried both 755 and 777, I'm on a linux host and talking with my host for an hour in chat they've assured me i can run the script. however it is still not working.

Alright after some extensive work with the host it was determined that the correct file was not uploaded in binary mode. After uploading the files in binary mode everything is working now.

For me

Vbadvanced module not showing up

Please check your permissions on ventrilo_status

Meant my file permissions were incorrect

Current problem is

Boy is this mod making me work :P I'm getting there, just trying to get the dang thing to show me what it wants for the vBulletin Path

It wants your full server path.

Let's say you are running apache on linux, and you have your vB board installed in:

/var/www/YOURSITE/

That's what it's looking for. Since paths can be a security issue, PM me if you need some more help.

Actually got past that, was having a problem using the debugging mode because my primary usergroup isn't administrator and it wasn't showing me the debug info. Switched my usergroup and copied what it told me, I made a thread with more info on your forums.

Right now it's just not picking up on the server

Forgive me, but where on earth are instructions for installing this? All the links in the original post up top give 404 errors, this page has moved to http://blahblah and those links are bad as well. In the file downloaded the install.txt leads to a url that is not any help either. http://crimm.me/vbulletin/ventrilo.... dead... In fact the only working link(s) is to your tweet, which of course is no help, and the package download link.

Using most current vb4 with CMS.
