Badtrucks.net - Badass trucks and hardcore 4x4
I've been working on my latest forum behind the scenes for a while now, and today is the day I feel it is ready to be shown to the public for the first time.
This is a forum for badass trucks, which makes sense because I've had a passion for trucks my whole life and forums for the last six years. As far as my starting point goes, I think this is my best one compared to all of the forums I made in the past. I took a lot of time getting it how I want it and I never usually did that. So aside from the fact that it has no posts yet, could I get some feedback? I was never good at skinning so I did what I can until I can afford to have one made. www.badtrucks.net |

I like the default skin, but the avatars being as big as they are stretch the postbit message area too much with short posts. Although, when there are big posts, the larger avatar looks cool.
The 'darker' style makes the text difficult to read. You may want to go with a lighter shade of gray on that one or a different color on the text. If it was my site, I would go with a sidebar (for ads and/or latest posts, etc) to cut down on the width of the forum home. And, it would also help to make the messages look longer and it would help with the avatar piece as well Not a bad start overall. Keep up the good work! |

The darker skin isn't really supposed to be looked at yet (in fact, I don't know why it's not disabled; I thought I did disable it), but I do like your sidebar suggestion about making the posts look longer and making the larger avatars fit better. Thanks.
