Login process help

I am trying to change the login process. Basically upon logging in, I want to be automatically forwarded to a certain page/url. How would I go about doing this. Thanks in advance!

Did you take a look at the login.php file? If you do, you'll see the page is determined by the function do_login_redirect. Look that up (functions_login.php) and you'll see a hook called login_redirect. So, I'd guess you can use that.

Thank you so much Lynne. I think I might have found a hack/mod that helps as well. If that doesn't work, now I know where to look.

Now onto a different question. I am trying to associate group's (not usergroups) with a zip code. Any way you could point me in the right direction for that?

What do you mean associate zip codes with a group? I don't understand what you want to do.

I need to be able to associate a group with a zip code. For example, when you go to create a group.. you must enter in a zip code for the group. The zip code will also be displayed within the group.

Reminder, I am talking about the groups.. *not* usergroups.

So when you go to view the group.. group.php?groupid=5 Within the block that lists who created the group. It also lists the group's zip code.

Hope I am making sense here.
