How would one go about changing the original order of the sidebar block placement? What I am looking to do is move the category block to the number one position! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Have you tried the layout manager to control Block placement? You can add/remove blocks and move items to the top and what not.
In ACP, select VBCMS select the style you're currently using (for example home), then Edit. you should be able to move around the blocks from there. |

yeah, my bad i thought you meant Widget placement. I've been playing with CSS alot on vb4.0 so i'll assume the easiest way is to just move it in the code
