After installation there is complete white background. The tables are white etc.

And also the title of the page is blank. How can I change that.

use that arcade template posted there .. and that arcade.css but put the contents into your additional.css..
you problem is that your using save css as a file..

score saving problem just add the portal / index edit code to your index.php
you must be using forum.php for your forum..
