New Old Website Problem Design

I created this website sometime in 2009 using vBulletin4.

The website is dead- like totally flat on it's face. Could someone take a look and see if I have some major design issues preventing people from using the website? It's purpose is to get user's of blade server products talking but it gets no traffic and no one signs up. I spent a lot of time building it and putting neat features into it but still no juice.

Any help is appreciated.

Looks fine to me. But it's not easy to attract a user base, especially in a narrow field like this where they've probably all been hanging at other sites for years.

Ok thanks Videx. I will talk to the higher ups about promoting the website in some way because its really a shame to see it empty after all this time.

I think the site lay out is awesome! When you get to the forums page though, the blue and black together make my eyes cross a little because the bars are so close together.

Other then that I really love the layout. Its very unique. Good job.

you have to promote and get good content that will attack users via internet search engines. Write good informative articles and posts.
