well that example is just a style change and some widgets set in a layout grid of what looks like 25 50 25 percent, its got nothing to fancy as I can see and the colors are nice earthy looking . not that hard to get to . the hard part of cms is figuring out how to use category and sections, i suggest a test site for this and just go to town changing stuff
heres the pull I see on it, they use video in almost every story , the weather widget is cool and they can be tricky make, the rest is all mostly static html widgets , i would say it is very easy to replicate every thing you see in it here is mine also very simple style and layouts change, with a couple of widgets I made. this site I made this week so its almost new, and is newest stable version.
