I did an upgrade from 3.8.3 to 4.1.1

The upgrading precedure run without any error. At the end of it, I tried to login into the AdminCP, but I can't. (Wrong username or password.)

Also the request of the lost password doesn't work - no such email address error.

(Btw. after 5 trys the notification email came to that email...)

What did I wrong?

Reset the admin with tools.php in the DO-NOT-UPLOAD folder

What error did you get with Tools.php?

No any errors, just it looks as all users have disapperaed.

Maybe I have an idea: the config.php during the upgrade was pointing to another database (two weeks ago i had a server change), maybe this causes the problem?

unm yea that would be a problem the data base you want to use has to be correct

if you didnt change config.php it should have been the correct setup though if your board was up and running before you upgraded. as config.php doesnt exist in an upgrade or install its named new.config.php

Yup harleyparts is right sounds like you have the wrong database

Tried again, upgrade has run without any problems, then same happened: I can't login.
