Administration Error
Sorry, you are not allowed to edit administrator permissions.
If you think you should have permission to access this page, you will need to edit the $config['SpecialUsers']['superadministrators'] variable in the includes/config.php file. To allow the administrators to access this page, edit the variable to include the user IDs of those administrators should have access, separating each user ID with a comma, like this: $config['SpecialUsers']['superadministrators'] = '1,25,57'; To allow only a single administrator to access this page, simply add that user's ID with no commas, like this: $config['SpecialUsers']['superadministrators'] = '1'; I was wondering where I could find this so I may enter my ids for more administrators or is this a completely different problem? Thank you so much for your time |

Right as it says on the tin (find the line in your config.php). However, if more people able to access the ACP is what you want, you need to add them to a usergroup that permits ACP access (by default, only the Administrators group allows this). They will not appear under Administrator Permissions until they are in a group that provides ACP access.
Note: When someone is added to an administrator usergroup, they will default to having no ACP permissions, which doesn't let them actually do anything in there. So either you will need to add yourself to the Super Administrators line in config.php, or whoever is already there will need to take care of it. Also, anyone specified as a super administrator via config.php has full access to all areas of ACP, regardless of what their permission settings are. |

Do you happen to know the path if I'm using the Warrior Template?
--------------- Added [DATE]1295987607[/DATE] at [TIME]1295987607[/TIME] --------------- I did find it in the includes folder. I entered the id's of the members I wanted to be super admins and it works fine now, thanks! |
