Yeah, looks like those places with asterisks are hex C2A0 in the feed, which I think is the UTF-8 encoding for a no-break space. So it kind of looks like whatever you're using to convert it to a post isn't decoding it right, or else it's deciding to display that character as an asterisk for some reason).

(I should say that I don't know very much about character encoding and I had to google it to figure this out, so I could be wrong).
