Quick question about cookies
My 4.1.0 forum is based on .net and I own the .com and currently have the .com forwarded to the .net
However, if someone starts at the .com they cannot sign in unless they click on the forum tab or mark forums read first. I am assuming that this is a cookie issue. In the options panel there is a cookie domain. Currently it is set at the default (blank) Before I mess this up, should it be set to .net so that anyone coming to the site via the .com can log in? This problem doesn't happen if they begin at the .net only the .com |

I have several domains forwarded to my 'main' domain and it works fine. There is no way for them to login from one of the other domains because it is set up to forward completely (url also). Doesn't the url change when they are forwarded?

It does change to .net however it you try to log in it doesn't show you as logged in unless you click the forum tag or marked forums read.
It isn't a huge problem, but kind of an annoying one. |

So it changes to .net and then you log in? Or, you are at .com, you login, then it changes to .net?

As soon as you go to the .com it automatically goes to .net however if you try to log in (at .net) it doesn't log you in. If you click on the forum tab or mark the forums read, then you can log in fine. It is just that initial transfer isn't doing it.
If anyone starts at the .net it works perfectly every time. |

Do you allow users to browse via both www.yoursite.net and yoursite.net?
