how to hide user emails from other admins?

I have other people that have admin access to my forum, and I do not like the fact that with one click of a button the
whole members emails popup...does anyone know if there is a mod to hide emails from all with the expection of the
master admin? Or if there are settings in VB that I can just cut other admin off from seeing member emails.

There is only really one way to make it where they cannot see info about the users and that is to turn off the ability for them to administer users. You can do this by logging into your admincp, then go to Usergroups>Administrator Permissions, then click on the "edit Permissions" link next to the admin you want to modify. Scroll down until you find "Can Administer Users" tick the "No" box, then find under it "Can Administer User Permissions" and tick no under that. Then click the "Save" button. Then those admins will not even see the usergroup settings or be able to look up users at all.

After that you will need to get your user ID, you can do this by looking at your account in the admincp. You can do this by logging into your admincp (or if you are still logged in just click the "Control Panel Home" link at the top on the left and then scroll down on the right side and look for "Quick Administration links" then find "Quick User Finder" and in the field put your admin nickname and click the "Find" button. At the very top you will see "User: YourNick (id: then a number here, this is your ID number)". Write it down if you cannot remember it. Then you will need to login to your server via FTP and navigate to your forums/includes directory and look for the config.php file. in that file file find:

$config['SpecialUsers']['superadministrators'] = '1';

Make sure that the number shown in red above is the ID number of your account on your config file, delete the other numbers (you may want to make sure of the other admins id numbers as well that you are editing before doing this.) Save the file & upload it back to the forums/includes directory and over write the old file. This will ensure they have no access to the members at all in the admin panel.

admin's and mods need to be able to administer members,
but what they do not need is viewable access to their emails.

Well if you want to have it where they cannot view emails you may have to get a php coder to code you something. I do not think there is any hack already made for that. You can try looking in the mods area here and see if there is anything like that.
