Can I somehow get vbulletin registration to assign a member ID to each person signing up, like for example a student number so like Ann Wilson would get AW234 something like that.. I want to be able to have a section in the students profile that automatically also updates the classes they have taken and how many points they received and how many credits for the class. Any way I can get this? also a way to sort students into houses automatically by filling out a questionaire and their sorted?

vBulletin assigns an id number to each member... if you have custom profile fields for first and last names I suppose you could pull the first character of each and append the vbulletin userid number to the initials and output it somewhere as their "ID" number.
