How to hide or filter Particular Category with click of button?

Hello, I want to hide a Category of my forum. Actually the section is Adults section. So I want to make a filter system for this. By defult the category will be hidden. But when users click on the filter button the category will appear to user. I have seen this modification in some forum Some months ago.

So What i need or want to know, A button which will work as a filter system. How to do this Plugin? Please help me.
