Heck, I love the idea! You could have a suspension option, the already-in-place ban option, a popup option, and a list of the top posters per hour (near the bottom of the page) so you could check up on those who are posting too much in a time period to not be malicous. It would just have the name of the user (which links to their profile) their ip, their email (which is a mailto
, a "pm user" option, and their # of posts/hour. Then you copy the name and paste it in the popup name box along with the message, click send. Or, if they are offline, you could click the email/pm button to email them/pm them, Or if you want to suspend or ban them, you copy and paste the ip into the appropriate area.
perhaps this is too much for a hack... but would work fantasmically in the next vb version.
