can anyone recommend a free shout box that i can embed into a protected section on my forum, i want to use it for staff conversations only to replace having to use PM all the time.

I would like to just be able to insert the code in a post in that section and bingo it works. If not, something easy to install as a mod or such that didnt require any code changes.

Why go to all that trouble? Just create a private staff forum. It would enjoy advantages like: records kept indefinitely, and email subscriptions (daily, anyway).

It is not a VB3 engine, just a parsed copy!
