Best thing to do is register a new user, then ftp to your site and upload tools.php *in the do_not_upload directory) to the admincp directory, point your browser there, and reset admin access for the new user. Now delete tools.php and see if you can login to the admincp using the new user.

Well, I figured it would be easier than having you get into the database to modify stuff. It really isn't that confusing if you read each step and then carefully do them.

Noy Oye aye?
Now that's confusing ^ Lynne meant, Register on your site under a new nick (use a proxy too if you believe he/she's looking for you) then if you still have FTP access (Filezilla etc) upload your tools.php that came included with your vBulletin files the tools.php is in the do_not_upload folder. Now go to Code:
http://www.yoursite.com/admincp/tools.php |
