Banned IP addresses can view the forum
I currently have a banned usergroup which bans users from being able to view all areas of my forum except for one. If a user's IP address is banned they can't see anything at all. How can I change this so that the banned IP addresses feature works the same as the banned user one?
I'm using vB 3.8 by the way. |

hmm This could be tricky depending on what you want the IP banned user to do? Are they ONLY allowed to view a forum or can they post in it too?

Would just need to treat all banned users the same as the banned usergroup instead of giving the generic "no permissions" error message.

I don't really understand?
You said you wanted one area to be unbanned. What area is this? You need to provide much more details. |

I've got something on the go but it would be a redirect rather than no permissions, so anyone that you maintain in the ip list will always just get redirected to whichever forum you specify.
Any good to you? |

Yes! That's exactly what I need.
