Iam not sure if i can explain correct what i am looking for.

When a user is uploading a picture . this is saved in the database anl also this takes some space from our disk space and bandwinth.
Does anyone know if there is an Addon for VB 4 which the user can do the same prosedure but the upload on the forus is an IMG ling which it doent take much space.?

Is this cleatr of what i want ?

You can allow users to use [ IMG ] tags and link to external images and then they take no room in your database or server.

They do allow to use this but they have also the option to upload pctures.

For this iam talking about , For them the procedure willbe the same with the upload of the pictures , but for us internal will do the same,

No, I don't understand. If you have the option to use the image tag instead, then just tell your users to use that. Or, even take away the option to upload images from external sites.

Lynne , i do get your point , but do not forget that people which are usuing a computer are not so experts.
Make a poll and ask 10 people which us IMG code and you will see.

So if i remove the option to upload then everybody will start contact me and this is not right.

That is the reason that if there is an addon which the user doesnt really care , they will continue to upload as they know but the images will be uploaded as IMG .

for the user there is no difference , but for me there is a big difference.
