Well my vb become faster if....

Hi,
I have an arcade and video directory set up on m vB. If I remove them, well that have an affect on the forum's speed?

While it couldn't hurt your speed to remove them I doubt you'll see much of a difference, if any. If the arcade or video directory aren't being used they won't affect your performance, and if they are being used removing them will likely upset people who have come to use them.

To increase performance when viewing posts/threads/forums you want to look at mods that appear on all your pages, see if you can optimize codes... remove as many options as you can from showthread and forumdisplay... Turn off features that are resource intensive in vBulletin options such as searching for similar threads, displaying who is viewing a thread, reputation, users age, etc... If you use the arcade maybe turn off the displaying of trophies in the postbit.

Thanks a lot for your reply. Yes, you are right. As soon as I hinted the removal of the arcade people went nuts.
