Failed new user registration, remembering their data?
Hello,
When a user tries to register, but for whatever reason there is a validation error (such as putting in the human required information incorrectly), can the fields filled in (name, address, etc) be remembered so they don't have to type everything back in again? Thanks, Mark |

Why would a user complain about that? It's a one-time procedure.
Anyway, I think Firefox would remember the fields and offer to autofill them after you typed the first letter. It's a browser issue, not vb. |

There was a bug report about custom user profile fields on the registration page and the data not being retained when you get an error. I posted the fix in the bug report, so try a search for it over on vb.com and you should find it. (No, I don't remember the fix, I posted it in there.)
