How do you add a sidebar?
I followed the advice here: http://www.bluepearl-design.com/foru...enable-sidebar
"Goto ADMINCP And then to enable the sidebar goto: settings --> options --> Forum Sidebar and Block Options To add blocks: Forums & Moderators --> Forum Blocks manager." I've confirmed that the sidebar option is enabled and that I have blocks under Forums & Moderators --> Forum Blocks. The forum manager simply shows two blocks (that I've created) and a display order, no where to "add" them. Can anyone help? Here is the forum I'm working on: http://forum.weddingtype.com/ --------------- Added [DATE]1285369827[/DATE] at [TIME]1285369827[/TIME] --------------- I'm trying to create a look like this: http://www.designforums.co.uk/graphi...-design-print/ |

Are your blocks 'active'?
Admincp > Forums & Moderators > Forum Blocks Manager > Edit block/Active YES If YES, have you tried viewing using the default style? |

Blocks are both active.
Can you explain what you mean by "default style"? According to the style manager, that's the only option (I've been stylizing the default). /newbie |

Ah, figured it out... the tag cloud block won't show up if there are no tags. I thought there would be a placeholder. Also, I created a custom block that didn't show up either, but that's another problem.
Thanks! |
