You are talking about the Currently Active Users list? You can modify the query to define which usergroups to not show around line 532 of forum.php where it says:
HTML Code:
    $skipgroups = array(3,4);
And then there is a similar query that excludes those usergroups in includes/functions_databuild.php around line 1827. Look in both those places.
