The colors used on the forum are in contrast of the website maybe give your main site and the forum the same look. I am not a fan of brown buttons/icons
Personaly i am interested in finding more about Islam but the "tone" of your website doesnt attract me. The front page of your site sounds more like an editorial to me then a search for answers and an understanding of history. I would have liked a more open minded website where my questions and missunderstandings would have been anwsered. That is my humble opinion. With a website subject like yours it is hard to simply say "your design looks good and so on" and not comment on its content.
