hi there
i have come to know that some of the users (i dont know who) have been cheating.
using the following method, they fabricate the score without even playing.
Quote:
If you are here that means that you searched the net over and over again to find a cheating program that you can use on flash games.
On flash player 7 everything was easy, find the real value using a memory search program and change the value accordingly.
Since flash 8 and above... things got a little complicated! Why? because Macromedia/Adobe changed the way flash variable values are shown in memory so... no more finding and changing.
So that's why I created this little program, pretty easy to use, to cheat on flash games
1. write your flash game link (the one with the swf, not the link to the page, ex: http://www.comegamesdomain.com/game.swf. You can find the link by right clicking the page with your game and chosing "view source") in the text field next to "Load" button. If you have any problems on this one just post a comment and I'll get back to it
2. Click "Load" button and wait the game to finish loading.
IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS WITH LOADING THE GAME or a message box appears with some settings, then go here: http://www.macromedia.com/support/do...anager04a.html
and click on "Always allow".
The movie might not load because your flashplayer.exe it is blocked by your firewall, so you might want to check this one out, too.
3. After the game has loaded, click on Show Variables to populate the dropdown box on the left.
4. Choose the variable you want to change, from the dropdown box, and it's value will be shown in the input box next to it.
5. Modify this value and click "Change"
6. There is no sixth step
Questions:
1) howw can i catch who is cheating?
2) how can i stop this from happening?
thank you

Well, i have tried but cant do it manually, unless there is a way to do it.
also, how can i hide the name of the game in the html? can you please be kind enough to tell me how to do it?
I see there is no response to this thread in terms of a solution, I am having the same problem and it is ruining the purpose of having an arcade (if you get my drift). It is so easy to hack it is unreal! Is there a way of preventing the cheating????
Anyone?
The program mentioned here does the cheat/hack, but you will find that an add-on for Firefox does the same (called tamper-data) with greater ease!
If I can not find a fix for this soon I think I will be uninstalling the arcade permanently
info: vbulletin v3.7.4 - ibproarcade v2.6.8
*apologies if the info is located in some other thread on the forums, I have looked - perhaps not hard enough* :erm:
