Internet Marketing Question

I run a sports website and got an advertising inquiry and was just wondering what to think of it. What would something like this normally bring in as far as money? I am a novice when it comes to internet marketing, backlinking, co-citations, etc. what kind of offer should I send back to this site wanting to advertise?

Basically what I would like is for you to include a keyword in your next post directing it back to our client?s website. The link should look natural and be placed in the 1st or 2nd paragraph of the article NOT at the end. Along with this a co-citation link to a major sports site to balance out and add value to the article.

We would also like to negotiate exclusivity for at least 1 year in the gambling/ticket industry in your website, this because websites that constantly add these kind of text links are considered spam (selling paid text links) by Google and get dropped from Google?s index, your website ends up losing value and so do the text links it contains. And the exclusivity would be limited to the text links only, any other form of advertising you have available you can sell to gambling and/or ticket companies.

Exclusivity is negotiable. Please let me know if you would be interested in this deal and how much you would charge for something like this. Looking forward to your response.

Thanks to whoever can give me a decent idea of what I am looking at here. My site has been up 2 months and it's Alexa Ranking is 713,000 and going higher and higher each day. I know that isn't a huge indication but just wanted to throw it out there.

It would completely depend on how much traffic your site brings it... I could see it being of near zero value though I doubt they'd even be asking if your site was that small. How many unique visitors per day do you estimate would see this article? 1,000? 10,000? 100,000? On the low side 'd say you should ask $5 per1,000 unique visitors, but on the high side maybe 10 times as much if the click-throughs are there- very hard to tell with limited info. Of course this is just my opinion, I am not some sort of professional e-appraiser.
