Deleting Posts as Spam

hello all,

i asked this over at vbulletin.com site and they told me i should see what you guys think if you could help me with some modification code:

when deleting a post as spam it allows us to delete all the posts from a spammer, and ban him which is great.
as of today there is no option where we can ban the IP as well with this tool

could someone help?

Code modification. Template Edits. Why not just copy IP and go to AdminCP and do it.

it's just simpler to do everything at once just like the delete as spam tool. it allows you to delete the post and ban the user at the same time, so it would be great if we can ban the ip as well at the same time.

often times in our forum we see some people start with posting some non-spam posts then go for spam! for good reason we dont wanna delete all posts for a user in that case.

previously we could select threads from the forum display page and do delete as spam; IMO that was a nice thing to have.

You don't want to ban IPs in vb anyway; do it in cpanel and it protects your whole site. And you don't just want to ban the (probably temporary) single IP anyway. You need to look it up and ban the whole range.

Better, just change your registration q&a which should stop them entirely.
