Im at work so I cant test it anyway. If I get time I'll have a look over the weekend, but tbh, if its broken Im more inclined to simply remove it rather then try and repair it.

It works for me using IE8, but i have to accept a security warning on Win7 (need to answer with No!!!).
It can be related to your security/internet settings. |

Marco: You can perhaps replace it with a mibbit widget, which works for more users than java.
namecheap.com had a massive ddos attack on their v2 dns system, resulting in timeouts, causing customers (like vbirc.com domain) to have unresponsive domains for some users. It worked fine for me, but not for some others, but anyway, that could have been the culprit on the 16th. |
