Secret or private text
Is there a way to make part of a post private or secret to only a certain user group?
Something like [secret]everything in this area would be only visible to my moderator user group[/secret]. I think it would come in handy for notes to the modstaff. Thanks in advance |

Umm, could be done using IF Conditions in BBCode manager. I would do it but don't have time to do this stuff.

I'm looking for something like this too, or something like a moderator note on top of a thread.
Hopefully someone knows how to do this, or where to find it, i got vbulletin version 4.0.2 |

I've never seen anything like that. There are User Notes in member's profiles which are only viewable by staff.
I don't see any value in burying a secret comment in a thread, as it's hard enough to keep up with posts already. i.e., few mods would see it. Better to just have a private forum where reported posts are posted. Then the entire staff can see when you report a post and you can discuss it in it's own thread. And you can see who's actually paying attention. |

I saw that...it may work. I'm going to have to play with it on my test site.
If you know of any other options, please let me know and thanks to those that responded. |
