Anyone can help me ? Two licenses, two different domain, but I want a common login
Hi
I need help on this. I have two different forums of total different contents on separate domains. The layout and designs are completely different. But I want my users to be able to switch freely between the two domains without having to logout, and that if they register from any one of the two vbulletin forums, they will be able to use their login for both forums. I tried looking through on this topic, but it is mostly on website and forum integration, not forum and forum integration, I hope someone can help me please! thank you. |

The solutions involve using one forum as the master and the others as slaves to it.

i still don't get how he would do it on already established databases. lets say john is a user on one board but john is a completely different user on another board, how does the slave no its not the same john? i understand you could have done it as fresh boards but users already exist, I am assuming and argh this is for vB Version: 3.7.2 |

For an existing board, you may have to import the users from the slave forum to the master forum ... then manually run some queries in the slave forum to update the user id's in the threads and stuff.
As for the mod, the mod might work up to 3.8 with little change. I personally think Adrian has the better approach with using mysql views as it doesn't touch the code, just the db. |
