emails marked as spam

Hello, i was just sending a test email to my gmail account and it got marked as spam.

How do i get the vbulletin emails to go to the inbox and not the spam box?

that have nothing to do with vBulletin itself but the content of your emails.

if your email is something like "admin@site.com" or "support@site.com" or "sales". etc... these are so used by spam systems that most of the emailers like yahoo and msn will stick them to the spam folder if your site is not registered in the white list.

if your email title or content is really a test stuff, or lorem ipsum or other stuff, you will be tagged as spam as well...

THis has everything to do with vbulletin, because it doesn't handle bounced email and therefore spams very large amounts of non-existing email addresses. vbulletin boards as a whole are a major spammer of the internet and vbulletin breaks about every anti-spam law there is.

Your board has been blacklisted by gmail as a spammer. emails from your site to gmail accounts will land in the spam box of your users, until you resolve it. As the large email providers share blacklists, it is likely that other email providers have also blacklisted you.
