I need to move 200k out of 300k users into a new group...
Hello everybody,
I have my standard usergroup "Registered Users", which contains around 300k users. Now I want to move every member with more than 100 posts into a new usersgroup and keep everybody else (with less than 100 posts) in the old usergroup. How do I do that? With the "Move / Prune User" option I can only select users who got less than x-posts (I need to select users with MORE than x-posts). Besides that, using that option always ends up in a time-out session, plus my browser usually crashes too. A 2nd part of this question is: Is there a way to automatically move a users from one usergroup into another, when he reaches a certain amount of posts? So if users from the "Registered Users" usergroup submit their 100th post, they will be automatically moved (or added as secondary user) to a new usergroup. It be great, if somebody could help me with this... |

I think you want to look into Promotions.

Thanks, I've seen this option before, but kinda thought it was only useful for "reputation" but looks like it is going to work just as good with posts. Thanks!
