CMS, what is it exactly?
As you can probably tell from the title, I am very new to vbulletin publishing suite. I have used and been members of many forums over the years, but I am new to hosting and running a forum of my own.
I am unsure of what CMS is exactly, and how it differs from a normal forum. I'm sure this is a dumb question but of anyone could help me understand what CMS is or direct me to a forum with a good example of CMS in use it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance |

Actually, CMS isn't a 'forum' at all. Think of it more like a website that you want to update frequently. In the old days you had to use FTP and HTML editors (Frontpage, Dreamweaver). Now you use a CMS.
