Make my forum available in two different languages
Dear Sirs,
I have a big vbulletin board, with my local language (Portuguese). I'd like to make it more international, ie letting users to participate in English. I've been using "vB Enterprise Translator", but that isn't solving my problem, only letting users browse the forum in their custom language. My idea is to have users both being able to read and write in English. I think the easiest thing is to make two different directories in my server: 1) home/pt 2) home/en Have the forum installed in both dirs and using different databases. Using .htaccess i think i can manage users to be directed to the international forum (english language) if not using a PT browser, otherwise have a default htm page with two flags and two different links, directing according to their selected language. Is there any other easier way to make the things as i want? Thank you for your help in advance |
