Mass PHP error within v3.8.5
Hi,
I dont know if other people are experiencing this error, but I seem to be getting it more than once which leads me to believe its due to a error within the vBulletin interface. HTML Code:
Deprecated: Assigning the return value of new by reference is deprecated in /home/socialop/public_html/includes/init.php on line 55 Deprecated: Assigning the return value of new by reference is deprecated in /home/socialop/public_html/includes/init.php on line 107 Deprecated: Assigning the return value of new by reference is deprecated in /home/socialop/public_html/includes/init.php on line 111 Deprecated: Assigning the return value of new by reference is deprecated in /home/socialop/public_html/includes/init.php on line 119 Deprecated: Assigning the return value of new by reference is deprecated in /home/socialop/public_html/includes/init.php on line 130 Deprecated: Assigning the return value of new by reference is deprecated in /home/socialop/public_html/includes/init.php on line 134 Deprecated: Assigning the return value of new by reference is deprecated in /home/socialop/public_html/includes/init.php on line 142 Deprecated: Assigning the return value of new by reference is deprecated in /home/socialop/public_html/includes/init.php on line 211 Deprecated: Assigning the return value of new by reference is deprecated in /home/socialop/public_html/includes/init.php on line 389 Deprecated: Assigning the return value of new by reference is deprecated in /home/socialop/public_html/includes/class_core.php on line 2552 I've just got the above error when trying to: -- Adding a custom page using the article in the vb3 forums -- Adding v3Arcade, this is coming directly from arcade.php Its like the files arnt supporting the action, so its preventing me from using the features I wish to impliment. Also, just got this from the v3Arcade page (arcade.php): Quote:
If anyone would like to assist then please do so, but if a member of vBulletin development team could look at the issue then I'd be very pleased. This has also been posted on vBulletin main forums for bug spotting! |

As I said in your report, the deprecation is due to php v5.3.x. You must ask your host to downgrade to php v5.2.x
v3arcade support is found in the mod thread and at www.v3arcade.com |
