Is it possible to set a permission that a forum member has to be in 2 user groups to access that forum?
I have some public joinable custom groups, but am about to set up a paid subscription for all members, and would like to set it that people in these custom groups need also a paid subscription. |

I don't think there is a way. You should use Forum Permissions.

I have tried playing about with the forum permissions, but cant seem to keep the forum private for the group members, while having the need to subscribe still. It seems its either one or the other, or if both, then everyone who subscribes can view that forum.

Set the Permissions so only staff and the subscribed member group can see the board

That is what they are set at now.
But I am adding a Paid Subscription to my forum, which will require members to pay to view most areas of the forum, also would like to include the public joinable groups, plus the forum they have access too.. I cant just add these groups forum to the paid subscription option as that will allow everyone to view them when they subscribe? |
