Not bad at all, seeing how it's your first time out of the gate.
I'll throw my two cents in (since you asked

) Maybe some car type graphics that captures your niche, something that screams automotive forum. If a potential member jumped from a google link, and didn't read the URL close enough, it would be hard to tell it was an car community.
All and all though well done

Seeing how I flapped my lips about your logo, if you end up in a pinch and can't get the banner sorted. Feel free to send me a PM w/some ideas and I will make one for you.

I like the forum. Maybe figure out some way to incorporate some color either with a minor layout change or adding some car pics - the dark colors seem a little bleak. Otherwise, looking good!
