bluehost tried to delete/ban my account with them today because they said my vbulletin forum was "spamming/phishing".
I came to find out that they want me to remove the auto-subscribe to threads that members have chosen after they post a topic or reply. Bluehost directly told me that "no auto responders are allowed on their servers" WTF? I cant have a forum where people subscribe to their own topics? The told me to remove it immediately or they will ban me, delete my account and delete all my files! How can this be? |

It may be related to the way vbulletin handles its email, because there is no way to manage bounced mail, the IP your site is on may get blacklisted as a spammer because of that. I dont know if that affects bluehost or not. Read the article in my signature to see what can be done about it. If this is whats bothering them then follow the steps in the article to resolve solving this issue.

I'd get rid of bluehost. When I first opened my forum, I was hosted with them and their servers weren't protected. I got hacked 15 times in 6 days until I realized it was me because the hacker posted on my forum and told us since I kept getting it fixed.
