What you could do is look into the source code what the name of the image is and look it up in your ftp (I think forum/images/ is the directory).

Replace that image in your ftp by the one you want. And name it exactly like who its named in the ftp. For example, if the statusicon in ftp is called 'statusimage.jpg'. You name the image on your computer exactly like that, then upload it.
