Hello,

Is there any mod which ask you to invite friends from Yahoo mail, gmail, facebook, orkut etc. when user first logs in.

You may have seen this already at many places, it is a great method to expand your community.

eg.
When you create account with Twitter, on first login the show "NEXT STEP" as option to invite my yahoo account, gmail account, facebook account friends to twitter. They ask for password of those services, logs in and grabs my friends and send them email on my behalf as invitation. (ofcourse there is small button at bottom showing "SKIP THIS STEP")

Its great method .. please tell me if there is any such tool available for VB.

Seconded, I've seen it for 3.7 but im not sure it will work with 4.0

Any mod asking for your password from any other site is shouldn't be trustworthy IMO.
It is a big difference between trusting twitter/facebook and trusting some random vb site with your e-mail username/password.

Yes there are some thid party addons that allow users to invite people from they're mail accounts, wonder why no one share them here.
