I'm at a loss to determine why the sidebar tab has the gap as shown. When turned off all's well but when I turn it on the tab has a gap and the forums are pushed up. As far as I can determine from firebug it's related to a block size which is set at 100%.

Thanks if you've dealt with this or can point me in the right direction.
