Updating Template
Hi i have a forum where it shows me this message when I logged into the admincp:
There are currently 16 customized template(s) that need to be updated or reverted. Some sections of vBulletin may not function if you do not do this! Click here to view these templates! Well, sorry to ask such noob question but how to edit the template so it match the latest vB template compatibility? I have tried to edit one of them just by copy-pasting the "new" template code to the "old" one (inside old-new comparison page inside admincp), and then from 17 customized templates that need to be updated, it was reduced to 16 (means I successfully updated the template?) I wonder if the text was reduced to 16 just because I updated it without actually do anything necessary for the template compatibility? What do I need to check to upgrade my template customization? |

If you hit Save while in one of those templates that is listed, it will assume you upgraded it and no longer list it as a template needing to be updated or reverted. It has no idea exactly what action you took while editing the template, only that you actually did something.
