Well advice no 1 make your site public, no one wants to sign up unless they know what the site offers. 2 if you are going to edit a template, make sure you edit all of it to suit your new style. For example the bottom right of your banner is part of the old template. Only other advice i can give you is to promote well, or you would have wasted your time with the site.
