de-modding a moderator?
How do I do this w/o deleting them as a user? When I go to the moderators list, there's a:
" Remove this Moderator from All Forums" option but then it asks: "Are you sure you want to delete this Moderator?" I don't want to delete them as a user, I just want them to not be a mod anymore? Do I have to go in and change their usergroup back to "registered user" and edit their permissions in EACH board, or can I use that remove option? I ask because the one time I tried this before it basically kicked the user out of the board. Their posts were still there, but they couldn't even log on anymore, it's almost like I'd banned them. I just have 3 mods that don't mod much if at all so I'd rather demod them if I can, but I certainly don't want to kick them off the board... Help! Thanks! Ben |

If you click "Yes" to "Are you sure you want to delete this moderator" it'll just remove them from Moderator, and be sure to go to "Users" and click "Search for user" and type there name in, and move them out of the Moderator group
The "Remove this moderator from all forums, just deletes them from forums to moderate so they no longer get emails about reports and so on. |
