so the robots.txt file goes into the sites root, not forums folder so would if my folder is named forums would it be

Disallow: /calendar/

or

Disallow: /forums/calendar/

almost sure it's the second one but just want to make sure....

Disallow: /forums/calendar/ I believe.

yes would deffo be Disallow: /forums/calendar/
