Having some major log in and log out issues

Hi,
I recently installed VBulletin and am having an issue where when I log in and click remember, it takes me to the page saying "You are now logging in" and then takes me back to the home page but shows me as not logged in. Then if I click on any link, it will show me as logged in.

I changed the setting in Admin CP => Options => Cookie Options => Cookie domain from "Blank" to "mysite.com" and now this solved the log in issue but created a new issue: Now I cannot log out no matter what I do. If I click log out, it says "You Are now logged out and all cookies have been cleared" but then if I go back to the homepage it shows me as logged in again.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

The cookie domain is supposed to be ".mysite.com"

Notice the dot in front of the domain name. When you changed that setting, did you have the . in front of the site name?

Thanks for your help--I did include the period (.) in front.
