i have some questions regarding upgrading my vbulletin. i'm running 3.7.0 now and have been for 3 years. over the course i have obviously made some modifications (manual and add-ons) and i'm concerned with the upgrade overwriting or messing these up.
what's the easiest way to do the upgrade and not lose any add ons? or is it an SOL sort of deal? any info is greatly appreciated. |

There are several articles written on the vb sites regarding upgrading, including this one - Quick Upgrade Checklist to Minimize Downtime when Upgrading vBulletin
I always do an upgrade first on a test site. I get my templates/styles and modifications working there and export them so when I upgrade my live site, I can just import them. |
