What niche would you like to see?

Greetings.

I have created several forums and I decided it'd be a good idea to ask the community what a niche they would be interested in - then I'd wrap my own touch around it and possibly create it if the idea sounds promising.

I am looking for suggestions for a community that would be based on a not-too general niche, but not too specific either. I know it's alot to ask but if you have any "suggestions" (keep it basic, we don't need too many details) that you think you would love to see a forum for - please let me know and I'll try to combine a few ideas of my own into it.

I do know how to make an appealing forum too, so it won't be some 5-minute put together job.

One last thing: I don't want to hear stuff such as "think of your own, we can't tell you what you like" and such; I'm a very open person.

The trials and tribulations on scraping away woodchip from the walls. a site dedicated to woodchip the nastiest most evil wallpaper to grace our homes. Have tutorials on which is the best method of removing this nasty crap off our walls if you were unlucky to move into home covered in woodchip.

Wood chip related - I would definetely be interested in such a site. Maybe get a nice domain evilwoodchip.com.

What are you interested in? What are your talents? Have you got extended knowledge in a specific subject that hasn't been fully exploited on the web that can be migrated to a forum application? Obviously you will need to have a strong interest in the subject at hand.

We could all make suggestions but you may not have the requirements to fill a niche we recommend unless you have extensive knowledge or some kind of know how in any suggestions put forth to you.

Shelley that's exactly why I'm creating this topic - I want suggestions that could bring up something I'm experienced with, even if I don't find it it's worth a shot.

Sure, I don't talents although nothing that isn't already created into a community. Therefore I'm looking for suggestions and will work from there.

Okay, let's give this one another try. A site dedicated to eliminating flies from our homes? Everyone hates flies, we would like to know which are the best methods in ridding this pest from our lives. Ever slept and there was a fly buzzing around in your bedroom because you left the window open on those warm summer nights? Couldn't be bothered to wake up and squat it so it became bothersome throughout the night. I'd like to know how to rid the pest without waking up from my slumber?

A site dedicated to the house fly and many other variation of flies expanding to many other bothersome insects?

Great suggestion.

To elaborate further, site suggestions may come in the way of domain suggestions, and for people coming on asking for a suggestion for a site niche they should delve into much like yourself. Database platform applications suggestions, vb version suggestions. Heck, even a community area expanded for people who can't decide what to wear today, the superficial kind of vistor. A what shall I wear today suggestion forum. An area for pet lovers, there's been days where I couldn't be bothered feeding the goldfish and would have liked to suggest whether I should feed him and get back that vital suggestion back whether he got fed that day. Btw, I don't actually have a goldfish but two chinese dwarf hamsters that do nothing but sleep.

How would you propose I stop them from being/becoming procrastinating furballs? I think they may have got this for me and want them to become an active part of my life. Heck, they don't even roll around in their ball and just sit there nibbling their little feet which are more like hooves than feet.

I'd be sure to suggest my idea to be added about the fly situation we've all been there.

Anyway, I like the idea. Bare in mind it's these suggestions that may seem stupid that people will find great interest in. Call me mad but it's true.

One on true political freedom. A forum where the views of all political parties are discussed. Something opposite of todays political system - where the 2 party system is rammed down peoples throats by the major news outlets.

A forum where the Democratic and republican parties do not get special treatment. A forum where the Libertarian Party and Constitution Party receive as much attention as the 2 major parties.

A place where people can read the facts, and vote for the party that reflects what they want in their government.

As long as people "think" they only have 2 options, there is no political freedom.
